 The Adler’s Design Center Process

At Adler’s our team of Design Center experts thrive on creativity and collaboration. We work closely with our customers to understand their vision, preferences, lifestyle, and needs. Our main goal is, and has always been, to help you create the space of your dreams, and our team can be as hands-on (or as hands-off) as you want them to be - from beginning to end.

Here’s a look at our typical design process when approaching a new project.

  1. Consultations: A designer will meet with you to discuss your design goals, budget, and any specific needs or constraints. This can be done in-store or at your place - wherever you’re most comfortable. Initial measurements by the customer will help in the quoting process.

  2. Selection of materials: Peruse our extensive collection of design books and talk with a designer to narrow down your favorite colors, textures, and materials.

  3. Sourcing Contractors: Adler’s will help you find the perfect contractor for your project. We work with extremely reputable vendors across the state and surrounding areas. For window treatments specifically, part of the service we offer is professional measuring and installing.

  4. Measurement & Installation: Once you’ve decided on materials, the next step is measuring the space. We highly recommend a professional take measurements before getting started on the project. For window treatments, we will send a professional installer (the same person who is responsible for the installation) to take the appropriate measurements.

Incorporating Wallpaper Into Your Home

Wallpaper has come a long way from the popular 1980’s designs you may remember! There are so many options to choose from - subtle to bold, textured to smooth, colorful to neutral. And for first time wallpaper clients, starting with a small space such as a half bath, a laundry room, or an entryway is key. These are all great spaces to add some color and a little bit of fun.
